A Colbert rational
Stephen Colbert is a liberal author/ comedian, who made a book entitled America Again : rebecoming the greatness we never werent.
I was exposed to his author by his show, on comedy central. I think that he provides some great insight into the other political parties in a very funny way. My reasoning for choosing Stephen is that he provides a view, much of the time, oposite of mine in a very funny way. Becuase of his presentation it allows me to laugh at and understand everybodys views. My conection to Stephen Colbert is simply that we both like to make fun of the opposite parties.

Commentary upon his new book

A review by CQ culture, reveals that many critics believe it is a true work of art. The report also states that it is quite supprizing that the book is "in order, and has pages". This book seems to be really popular with the american public. A review by Tara Fowler shows she has extreme bias, her whole point of her review is to tell the reader how great he is, mentioning no real details

Stephen Colbert, ive chosen to foucus on him
In his early life, Stephen grew up on James Island South Carolina. He was the youngest of 11 children in his catholic family. His mother was a homebuilder, and his father was a vice president for accademic affairs at the medical school of South Carolina. As a young boy he realized his southern accent promoted a false steriotype in people, so he tried to suppress it. When he was ten two of his brothers were killed in flight 212 when it tried to land in Charleston South Carolina. After that his mother relocated them downtown, Colbert reports that he had trouble fitting in to his new location. A final review by Nick A. Zaino III shows the reader some insight into what the book may be about. His review tells the reader about how his book is simular to his show in all of the great satirical ways that makes the show how good it is.
The type of satire present
The type of satire present is most definately smart funny. This is an special category reserved for special people such as Colbert. Colbert has great insight on America's issues, and he presents this in his own satirical fasion. He makes fun of his opposing political parties in very convincing and funny ways. Even though he has his biases that dramaticaly affect his views,he presents them is such a great way that the reader forgets.
